We'd rather build a tool than fill out another template.
TechKrystle is a small, independent toolmaking practice. We build free, single-purpose web tools that do one job well — this time, that job is lesson planning.
Why lesson planning
Lesson planning is one of those tasks that's essential but rarely convenient. Most planning tools on the market fall into two camps: heavyweight AI platforms built for school districts with procurement budgets, or free templates that are just blank documents with headings. We wanted something in between — a tool that gets you from a grade, subject, and topic to a structured, print-ready plan in a couple of minutes, with nothing to sign up for and nothing hidden behind a paywall.
Who it's for
- Classroom teachers in the US and internationally, planning daily lessons or sub plans
- Homeschool parents who need structure without a classroom-management layer they don't use
- ESL / TEFL instructors teaching across different curricula and countries
- Tutors and substitute teachers who need something ready to hand off, fast
How we work
Every TechKrystle tool follows the same rules: no account required, no data held hostage behind a subscription, and output you can actually use — copy it, print it, or save it as a PDF. We keep the tools free by running a small amount of advertising, not by selling your information or your students' information.
What's next
We're building out the toolkit one generator at a time, starting with a general-purpose planner and expanding into grade-specific, subject-specific, and standards-aligned versions — plus dedicated tools for homeschoolers and Montessori settings. If there's a format you need that you don't see yet, tell us — see the Contact page.
